You’re showing up to the lectures and classes and you’re getting tons of studying done. And what better place to get your dedicated studying done than at one of CBS’ many reading rooms?
The good news is that CBS has a handful of them with different features that will all make it easier to concentrate and find the motivation to get some studying done.
Some of them are walk-in, while others allow you to book a spot. All of them offer four-week access to a locker where you can store your heavy books, and of course, coffee is available at a student-friendly price.

CBS Library
At CBS’ main campus at Solbjerg Plads, CBS Library, with its four floors, is the place to be for inspiration and motivation to get work done. There is no way to not feel the academic inspiration when stepping into this book and study heaven.
At the library, you can save yourself a seat on one of the two top floors by booking it ahead on student cbs. The ground floor is free for anyone without a booking, on a first-come-first-served basis. All four floors offer lounge furniture in case your body needs a rest or you simply prefer to study in a more chilled setting.

Facilities: Librarians are here ready to help you search for literature and sources. Tons of books, daily newspapers and magazines are available 24/7.
Nearest printer: The IT room on the first floor.
Nearest coffee: Self-service at the CBS Library Kiosk, which is open 24/7 with the access card (you can turn your student card into one at Campus Desk in front of the library).
Opening hours: 24/7.

The quiet reading room
Looking for peace and quiet to truly dive into the exciting worlds of Friedman, Marx and Freeman, you need a place where no one mumbles, chews out loud or types away loudly on their keyboard. The quiet reading room at CBS Library is just that spot. You’ll find it tucked away on the second floor.

The reading room at Dalgas Have
What used to be the language library at Dalgas Have campus has been turned into a reading room for students who prefer this slightly less crowded campus to Solbjerg Plads. The reading room is located on the second floor in the middle of the gorgeous building from 1988 by architect Henning Larsen. A third of the available seats are up for first-come-first-served grabs and the rest must be booked through mycbs. As this campus is less overrun than Solbjerg Plads, it’s easier to find an available spot here.
Number of chairs: 152.
Facilities: Group work rooms at both ends of the reading room. A lounge area perfect for when you need a break or to switch up your reading position. You can get access to a locker to store your books for four weeks.
Nearest printer: In a room by the entrance to the right.
Nearest coffee: At the cafeteria. After closing hours, you can enter the cafeteria with your student or access card.
Opening hours: 7.30 am – 9 pm.
How to get there: The reading room is located in the middle of the building on the second floor. The nearest metro is Lindevang Station.
Graduate House
Graduate House is the place for the master’s students at CBS, equipped with lecture rooms, a cafeteria and reading rooms on the first and second floors. This is where they go 24/7 to get deep work done. The reading rooms were renovated in 2015 and offer just what you need. At the center of each floor, you will find the necessary lounge areas, ready for you when you need a break.
Facilities: Graduate House offers lockers where you can get your own key, and access to a locker for four weeks at a time.
Nearest printer: Inside the print room by the reading room on the second floor.
Nearest coffee: At the cafeteria. After closing hours, you can enter the cafeteria with your student or access card.
Opening hours: 24/7.
How to get there: The reading room is located at Graduate House by H.V Nyholms Vej. Grab bus 9A along Peter Bangs Vej and get off when you see a Fakta.
