In high school, Nicolai was extremely focused on his grades and getting the best Grade Point Average. This led to constant pressure and stress. When starting at CBS, he made the unusual choice of not looking at his grades anymore. Instead, he is set on focusing on improvement while studying.
Denmark has no Model UN conference. But the students in CBS United Nations are planning to change that. Next year, they want to bring the conference, where students from around the world simulate the workings of the UN, to Copenhagen.
How does it feel being in a room full of Nobel prize winners – including your own personal idol? “Nerve racking,” says Anne Sophie Lassen, who is a highly esteemed PhD fellow at CBS. She recently attended the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Southern Germany, where the sharpest economical minds gather every third year. “An absolutely mind-blowing experience,” according to the young star researcher.
