CBS has found its new chairman of the Board of Directors
Torben Möger Pedersen, adjunct professor at CBS and CEO of Pension Denmark, has been appointed the new chairman of CBS’ Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will also welcome Lillian Mogensen, former CEO of Payment Denmark, as a new member of the Board.
On July 1, Torben Möger Pedersen will take up the position as the chairman of CBS’ Board of Directors, and Lillan Mogensen becomes a new member of the Board, according to a statement on CBS.dk.
Torben Möger Pedersen is the CEO of Denmark’s largest pension fund, Pension Denmark, and has been so for 25 years. He has experience of board work through current and former membership on the boards of, e.g. Arbejdernes Landsbank, The Danish Rheumatism Association, The Symbion Foundation, Gefion Gymnasium, The Danish Foreign Policy Society, Insurance & Pension Denmark and Aalborg University. He will retire from the latter due to his new position as the chairman of CBS’ board.
Furthermore, Torben Möger Pedersen has insight knowledge of CBS, as he teaches the board program at CBS and is an adjunct professor too.
The new chairman of CBS’ Board of Directors, Torben Möger Pedersen will replace Karsten Dybvad whose term of office expires on June 20, 2019.
Lillian Mogensen, however, will take up her position immediately replacing Lisbet Thyge Frandsen. Lillian Mogensen is the former CEO of ATP/CEO of Payment Denmark, a consultant and a professional board member with focus on digital transformation, HR and strategy. She has, for example, been a member of the board of the IT University of Copenhagen for 12 years.
