Humans of CBSbyLisbeth Holten
Zarteshia Ahmed, Student/Research Assistant: I just handed in my thesis, which was about women empowerment in developing countries. It was really difficult because I had a hard time getting access to women in developing countries. I chose pink because I like the color.
Mark Ercolao, MSc Advanced Economics and Finance, from Toronto: I chose this colour to make up for the lack of sun here in Denmark. Even Toronto is sunnier in the winter time.
Maamatu Lasaba, Cleaning Lady, from Ghana: I came to Denmark through Italy. My husband is still there. When he comes to visit me, I will make him fufu, a Ghanaian soup made out of a starchy root vegetable.
Jakob Espen, Business Administration and Innovation in Health Care: I chose this shade of green because it reminded me of my work clothes at the old folks’ home I work at in Norway.
Bateta Annet Kanamura, Information Science and Cultural information: I really enjoy going out for dinners with my friends. Copenhagen has so many good places to eat. One of my favourites is Sliders because I like the concept of having little burgers.
Jason Long, IT Support: Outside of work I like to mess around with videography, photography, and film editing. I actually have a youtube channel, it's gldnartfilms. I chose blue because it makes people feel more relaxed.
Lærke Nyegaard, Student Hub: I have a two-year-old son. He's really small but he already likes playing sports. He especially likes going out to kick the ball around with me. I chose the color orange because it represents Student Hub.
Jesper Olsen, Maintenance: I'm really into racket sports like tennis, badminton, and squash. I don't know which colour I should choose, so I'll just ley you surprise me.
Gina Binet, Business Administration and Innovation in Health Care, from Budapest: Outside of school I'm actually a fencing instructor. Come down to Hellerup Fægte-Klub if you're interested in trying it out.
Fie Jensen, Project Management: I'm really into handball, I play left wing. Also, I'm looking for a room to rent, if you hear of anything drop me a line.
Esa Jones, Service Management, from New York City: I'm in the last year of my bachelor. it's been really cool in Copenhagen, but I got a job lined up back in my own city. I chose this color because it matches my set.
Zhifej He, Business Administration and Innovation in Health Care: I'm really into spinning classes because it is a tough work out but without the dangers of getting injured.
Jeremy Moon, Velux Professor: I'm originally from Nottingham, but I've been teaching at CBS for three years now. I specialize in corporate social responsibility. I chose blue because I'm wearing blue.
Thilde Langevang, Associate Professor: I love to travel, lucky for me, my research is about young women entrepreneurs in developing countries such as Ghana and Uganda. I chose the colour green because it reminds me of springtime in Copenhagen.
Johannes Jung, Advanced Economics and Finance, member of Copenhagen Management Consulting Club: I enjoy attending whiskey tastings. My favorite bottle is a Macallan that has been aged for 12 years in a fine oak barrel. Blue is CBS' color right, let's go with that.
Pernille Kjærsgaarde, IT Support: I'm a huge F. C. Copenhagen fan. I was out watching Denmark beat Ireland 5 - 1 but now I'm paying the price because I'm stilling feeling tired.
Paul Richmond, External Lecturer: Normally you would find me wearing a biker jacket, but while I'm at CBS, I wear a suit. I chose the color green because it's important for the world to consider green issues.
