Open breakfast meeting on “Building a Workforce of the Future” with one of the most influential thinkers in HR, Professor Peter Cappelli, 31st January 2018

Due to continued disruption, business strategy is becoming a moving target. The reinvention of business models is putting pressure on internal business functions to realize the opportunities brought by digitalization, drive innovation, increase efficiency, ensure organizational agility and faster decision making. As all business functions undergo significant transformation, they are foremost challenged with building, developing and retaining their workforce for the future.

In 2018 the HCA Group at CBS launches a new initiative “Transformation: HRM Forward” with the aim to explore the drivers of business transformation and its consequences for the way we manage our workforce today and should be managing it in the future. Within this framework we will have open events, a one-year Collaborative Learning Network (sign up required), seminars with key experts and roundtables with CHRO’s.

First event of 2018 – registration is now open!

Our first event in 2018 under our new initiative is centered around the topic of Performance Management with Professor Peter Cappelli as a keynote speaker. Professor Cappelli is the George W. Taylor Professor of Management at The Wharton School and Director of Wharton’s Center for Human Resource. He was recently named by HR Magazine as one of the top 5 most influential thinkers in management. His work has been published in Harvard Business Review, excerpted in Time Magazine (online), reviewed in the Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, and most major business publications. Peter has among others published “Talent on Demand: Managing Talent in an Age of Uncertainty”, “Why We Love to Hate HR … And What HR Can Do About it” and “The Performance Management Revolution”.

Following his presentation, there will be a panel debate amongst CHRO’s of Danish firms and leading professional experts in this field.
