We live in a complex world advanced technology, global supply chains, need for us to constantly acquire new skills. The answer will not be to pretend that we can go back to simpler times. Instead we need to get to grips with complexity and ensure that it does not undermine our fundamental values.
International Debate CBS is thrilled to announce the first event of the semester - a talk by Margrethe Vestager, the Danish EU Commisioner for Competition.
Margrethe Vestager is the lady who business leaders around the world fear to be contacted by. During her period in the European Commission she has been taking on fights with Google, Apple and recently Ikea. Being the rich world's most powerful trustbuster she has a strong platform to talk about democracy.
The talk will be at SP01 which is the biggest auditorium at CBS, close to the entrance across the street of Frederiksberg Centret. The talk will begin 15:00 but please arrive in good time due to registration. The event is free and open to everyone, but you have to register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/margrethe-vestager-democratic-debate-in-a-complex-world-tickets-41621446868
