Winter is coming and so is Christmas!
And no Christmas without a Christmas concert.
Händel’s Messiah is one of the greatest traditions of the Christmas month. You might not know the names. However you do know the music (or at least some of it – have a listen below if you do not believe us)! It has become one of the best-known and most frequently performed choral works in western music.
This performance by Academic Choir will be a very special, informal, and unconventional one. The settings will be Blocs and Walls, the biggest climbing hall in the North. There will be climbing angels on the walls and a bar you can visit during the performance. The choir will be extraordinary colorful, and the soloists will move around the room.
During the performance the conductor, Nenia Zenana, will introduce and explain the five themes of the piece. This is a unique opportunity to get further insight in the music and the story behind it.
