App-ønskedage 2017

Do you have a great idea for an app? Pitch your dream app and have it programmed by DTU's IT student.

During this autumn, about 150 IT students at DTU will be working on app development as part of their training. If you have a great idea for an app, you can present it on one of the two app wishing days - and maybe get it realized.

The wishing days are Monday, 11 September at 9-11, and Thursday, 14 September at 14-16, both days at DTU Ballerup Campus, Lautrupvang 15 in Ballerup. You will get 10 minutes to present your idea, and afterwards there will be 5 minutes where the students can ask you elaborating questions. During the following two weeks, the students decide which of the ideas they will work on, and then they will spend the rest of the semester developing the actual app.

Some of the apps that have been developed past years are of a very high quality; eg. Billetto chose to continue with the Android app they had made by our students after an app wishing day last year, and Skoleliv in Nepal made a great game, which they later published - see here (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gY0f-TDDFKbf-_gNuQJMfjtleJSa86mdVrmfwmBYtSo/edit#heading=h.5ag3xw3qxm3d).
